Gramercy construction nears ground level

Construction at the Gramercy site is nearing the ground level as work has extensively started on Basement 1. Following the completion of a 30-meter deep excavation, the 4-meter mat foundation and basements 6 to 4, rebar works, form works and concreting have moved on to Basements 3 to 1.

As of May 7, 2009, rebar works have reached 85 percent, 60 percent and 40 percent on Basements 3, 2 and 1, respectively, while 15 percent of rebar works have been accomplished for the ground floor.

Form works are at 85 percent, 30 percent and 20 percent on Basements 3, 2, and 1.

Concreting works are at 35 percent, 30 percent and 20 percent on basements 3, 2 and 1 respectively.

The Gramercy Residences is developed by Century City Development Corporation. The project’s construction manager is Nova Construction & Development, while its architectural designers are The Jerde Partnership International and Roger Villarosa Architects and Associates.
